Just for fun.
Come on, try it. Go here, enter in your date of birth and find out the number 1 song on the day you were born. Sorry, no Canadian charts so a lot of you will just have to be satisfied with the U.S. charts.
Come back on here and tell me what the hit was. (It will help pass my day at work.)
Mine: Someday We’ll Be Together - Diana Ross & The Supremes
J-L's: The Happening - The Supremes
Peanut: Gold Digger - Kanye West

Love is Blue by Paul Mauriat (I don't even know who is he.) My mother always told me it was the Irish Rovers Unicorn song, so maybe that's the Canadian answer.
It's a good thing we're not necessarily affected by the number 1 song of our birthdate or peanut may be finding life hard.
Mine was "You Needed Me" by Anne Murray, Alex's was "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones and Piper's was "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey.
I've never heard any of them!
Monday, Monday - Mama's and Papa's.
"50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," by Paul Simon. Now I'll have to go find that song to see what it sounds like since I've never heard of it!
"Tammy" by Debbie Reynolds. I know who Debbie Reynolds is but I don't know the song.
What is frightening to me is that I KNOW some of the songs mentioned in these comments. I can actually sing some of them.
Love You Inside Out - The Bee Gees. Can't say I would recognize that one, though I'd probably recognize it was a bee Gees song! I want to know what it sounds like now!
"How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" by the Bee Gees... can't say I know that one... I'd say it was before my time... but the whole point is that it IS my time! haha
Killing Me Softly With His Song - Roberta Flack
I know that one :)
Moody River, Pat Boone.
I've heard of You Needed Me, Monday, Monday, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, and How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, which likely means I'm older than everyone!
"Big Girls Don't Cry"
I am trying not to take the "big" girl personally. :)
All I Have to Do Is Dream, by the Everly Brothers.
Fun times. All I had to do WAS dream in 1958...
I know all of those songs. Geesh.
