Exhale
Abby is at the sitter's all by herself for the first time this morning. (Let's just say it's good that I have a project I have to get done - keeps my mind busy.)
Yes, I may as well admit - I did have a moment of panic just now when I saw the sitter's number on our call display. But all is fine. She's napping. SHE'S NAPPING! This is good news. She barely naps anywhere if there's stuff (you know, like 3 noisy children) going on.
Breathe.

She's so smart, I thought maybe Abby was calling you to tell all was well :)
Ah, no wonder you have a little uninterruped computer time to respond to my emails. Usually there's more of a delay. :-)
Just looking at Heather's list of new blogs and clicked here.
I remember leaving my little ones for the first time. Before you know it, she'll be leaving on a date for the first time. Enjoyed your post and the videoes.
I really don't live in a swamp, so don't let my user name scare you.
BIG step... way to go mama...as hard as it is... it had to happen eventually. I love that you are so "Tuned in" with her. That is truly a beautiful thing.
Hey, we're right in sync, Jeremy had his first long stretch alone with our new sitter yesterday. Yikes!!!! And it went very well. She got him to nap without nursing to sleep (wow!) He seemed happy and even (reportedly) lay absolutely still on the changing table while she changed him (that NEVER happens these days). The nice part is that he's also so sweet and cuddly with me (albeit somewhat anxiously so). Hang in there, our babies are growing up!
She (and you and J-L) will survive.
