Seriously, this has GOT to stop.

(1) It's VERY cold out here these days.
(2) I like baths.
(3) I'm a cold person at the best of times.
(4) I've been bathing way too often lately.
(5) It's drying out my skin.
(6) Frankly, my skin has gone past the point of being itchy.
(7) It now HURTS.

Sorry, Becky, I thought 7 was a bit of a stretch. I really couldn't see myself going to 10.

i wanted to leave a comment about how my skin hasn't been dry since i started drinking 4 litres of water per day but i wanted to make sure that in the comment i sounded like i knew that this is indeed crazy. but i didn't know how to make it sound like that without spelling it all out.

My skin has been very dry too. My favorite remedy is Body Shop body butter, almond or cocoa flavor. I slather it on after showering. It got rid of the pricklies that were breaking out all over my limbs.

if it's a bath you want, try dumping in some oil and when you get out your skin will be soooo smooth and soft. Olive oil will do in a pinch, but a sweet almond oil is the best, also a coconut oil. Or try an oatmeal bath too... or even a couple cups of milk tossed in... I hate cold weather too.

I hate cold weather too! It's been cold here, but probably not as cold as it is there. Body butter is my best friend in the winter!

Hand lotion is incredibly difficult to find out here - and if you're lucky enough to find a bottle, it'll be found with the facial moisturizers - i guess the irish just don't have dry skin...

I too have incredibly dry skin. Aveeno is the only thing that works for me.
