Sigh.

You are going to be sooo jealous when you hear about my Saturday plans.

This Saturday the three of us are heading out to my boy's boss' cabin.

Ah yes, a FULL day spent with people I barely even know.

But wait, it gets better. The guys are all heading out golfing from there. Mmm. You're getting jealous now, aren't you? I get to spend a day at someone's cabin that I barely know with a bunch of women that I know even less.

I might add, "and don't care to know" but that would just be really mean of me.

Yes, I know, it will be what I make of it. So, I suppose this bad attitude isn't a very good start, hey?

Well, I don't know if these will really help, but I thought they were at least kinda funny.

too bad i couldn't come in your place. as long as there is wine and good food, i can spend the day with ANYONE. probably they'll all just spend the day remarking how cute and sweet abby is.

hope it goes well.

Nope, not me. I'm not jealous. I only need to spend about 6 hours, once a year around Christmas time with my Wes's coworkers and spouses and various partners. It sure would be fun to be there with the people I like though. What a blast that would be! Hope you end up meeting at least one interesting person.

Ooh. That last one had a weird typo. "My" Wes. Oops.

JUST WENT THROUGH THAT MYSELF for Damian's work BBQ. He didn't take off golfing (if he had I would have totally bolted by the way - happy to have 2 cars). But - he had to actually tend to the grill for the longest 1.5 hours of my life. Time you just can't get back. I walked around taking pictures of people with their shorts bunched up in their bums.

Pam: Thanks for the link. However, I do think I may get strange looks if I suddenly come out with: "Did you know that the longest recorded flight of a chicken is 13 seconds?"

Michele: Um, good food: NO! Cold cut sandwiches for lunch, I'm thinking steak for supper. Blech. As for wine: A little tricky as a nursing mom.

Gail: BELIEVE me, I'm trying to figure out a way I can sneak off and read.

Joyska: Crap! We're heading off on our trip on that Saturday. Are you out here? Maybe Friday?

Heather & Linda: Well, think of me tomorrow while you're doing something more interesting.

Tina: He, he. And somehow, I can TOTALLY picture you doing that (the photos of the bums). Thanks for the laugh.

there's a big thunderstorm coming our way. hope it foils your plans. esp. after reading your reply. merely the WORD coldcuts puts me in chills.
