Two things
I wish I would have caught it on tape as I might never hear it again:
Yesterday was a long day. Too many tears (and the kids cried too), too much yelling and too many questions. We were getting company but before they came I decided to sit down and watch some mindless television. My 2.5 year-old (in a bit of a sulky tone): "I don't WANT to watch tv. I want to clean up."
And how I can tell my #2 might be a bit of a fusspot:
Yesterday he did not nap from about 2 pm until 8 pm. Nothing seemed to work until his dad had the brainwave of taking off his clothes (apparently he was hot) and just laying him down. Today? Yeah, he would not settle until I dressed him and held him (lots). As I said last night to my friends: "I think 95% of parenting is just guesswork".

Yup, guesswork alright. After 12 years of parenting, I'm still guessing.
I hear ya.
Boy did I want a nap today.
Um... wedn is me
Oops - apparently you didn't get the comment I accidentally left (but didn't really leave after all) as Wedn...
here it is
"Lots of guessing!
How's Jack at night-time sleeps and feeds? How are you and J-L with the same?
I think of you all the time."
(Except when I'm using the loo, and some other odd jobs around the house!)
It is...what works today, will be shunned tomorrow!!
